The Friends and the Global Student Forum

The Friends and the Global Student Forum sixth formers held a very successful Quiz evening . Our guests, who were treated to a splendid curry, faced tricky questions on subjects ranging from 'Numbers' to 'Who lived here?' The competition was keen but in the end Mrs Bateson's team scored a win for the second time running!

The sixth formers involved worked tirelessly to make the evening run so smoothly – it really would not have been possible to put on such an evening without them. Their effort was rewarded as together we raised just over £1,000. Global Student Forum members were raising money for their chosen charity, EdUKaid, a UK based charity aiming to enable the children of the developing world to gain dignity and future prosperity for themselves and their communities by providing education. Thanks to everyone who came along to support us.
