One of the things our Students say that they value most about life in the Sixth Form at Redland High is the way our staff relate to them as young adults.
They note a real change in the relationship between teaching staff and students which becomes one of partnership and support as the Students work towards achieving the best examination results they can.
For those entering from outside at this stage, integration is easy because for all our Sixth Form Students it is a time of change and self-discovery. We aim to provide an outstanding academic education along with the opportunity for every Student to develop the skills needed to thrive in the world of university and beyond.
Our small teaching and tutor groups ensure optimum individual attention and guidance about work loads and commitments outside the classroom as well as help with the UCAS process.
Giving the Sixth Form exclusive use of the self-contained Mary Crook Study Centre allows the Students to begin to make the transition between school and university.
Success in the Sixth Form requires a balance between hard work and time for self-development and fun - we are experienced at helping Students achieve that balance and look forward to working with you.
Come and meet some of our Year 12s and 13s and ask them what life is like in the Sixth Form at Redland High. You will find them friendly, frank and full of confidence!
