RHOK (Redland High Orienteering Klub)

There was another fantastic turn out of Redland High Junior girls at the Avon Schools' League Orienteering event in the Forest of Dean. Once again the weather was perfect and many of us enjoyed a leisurely picnic together afterwards.

Siobhan Clabour was the fastest Year 6 girl and Yvonne Bentley and Pippa Morgan were also placed highly in the Year 5 girls. Year 4 all ran exceptionally well with Charlotte Cooper and Ella Kipling just pipping the others to the post! Congratulations to Zara Lovelock, Sara Tomerak, Alice Doran and Laura Donkin, all in Year 6, for achieving their White Badges for running three white courses completely alone.

The next event is on Sunday 29 November, again in the Forest of Dean, lets hope the weather is kind again!
