Advanced Level (A2) Results - 2012
2012 was another good year for Redland High with 100% pass rate for our A Level students and 30% of students achieving 3 A*/A grades. There was more good news for the 10% of Redland High students with Oxbridge places as all achieved the grades they needed for entry. Of these candidates, Rosalind Russell from St Andrews in Bristol achieved 3 A* grades, securing her place at Christ's College, Cambridge to read History with a Choral Scholarship. There was also celebrations amongst those girls taking the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) as all candidates achieved top A*/A grades. EPQ is a skills-based qualification that develops the independent research skills of students. Leading universities are very keen on the EPQ and see it as a qualification that gives a student's application the edge and Redland High offers Sixth Formers this opportunity
GCSE Results - 2012
Celebrations continued on GCSE results day as 100% of the students achieved 5 A*- C grades including Maths, English and a Science at GCSE, a great achievement and testament to the hard work put in by all of the GCSE students. Despite reports of English results being disappointing nationally, 83% of Redland High students achieved A*/A grades in English Literature and 74% achieved A*/A grades in English Language.
Six girls excelled with 11 or more A* grades including Rachel Brierley-Ambrose, Maya Concannon, Gloria Lau and Madeleine Tickell with Rachel Gaitonde and Madeleine Taylor-Laidler both achieving 12 A* grades. They will all go on to Sixth Form at Redland High and can look forward to joining top universities in the future.
As Redland High Sixth Formers they will be able to take advantage of the wide range of courses and combinations available and will be studying between them Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Latin, Government and Politics, History, French, German and Geography.

Redland High are celebrating today as they topped the Department of Education's League table in Bristol with the highest % of pupils getting the best GCSE results. 100% of girls at the School got A* - C at GCSE including Maths and English.

There was plenty to celebrate as 100% of the students achieved 5 A*- C grades including Maths, English and a Science at GCSE. It's been another good year for Redland High with 100% pass rate for our A Level students and 30% of students achieving 3 A*/A grades. There has been more good news for the 10% of Redland High students with Oxbridge places as all achieved the grades they needed for entry.
Redland High 100% Pass Rate Again!
55 candidates sat A2 level examinations this year. They achieved a laudable number of A* results with 23% at the top grade. Combined A*/A results totalled more than 63% of all the grades (63.35%) and over 80% achieved A*-B grades (80.12%) which is a fantastic result. 4 students gained 3 A* grades each. The Redland High pass rate was, once again, 100%.
Value of a Redland High Education Grows!
We are delighted that the Department for Education has reported that our 2010 Value Added results are improved on last year and that we have performed better than all the independent schools that take girls and the academies.
